School of the Madeleine (SOM) is a Catholic coeducational school, serving children from preschool to eighth grade. We have approximately 600 students from over 15 communities around the San Diego area. Our campus is located in the Bay Park area of San Diego and over-looks Mission Bay. School of the Madeleine is known for its strong academic programs, Christian values, and a dynamic, supportive parent community. We encourage the moral, physical, and social development of each child and strive to prepare him or her for life in a culturally diverse and economic complex world. School of the Madeleine believes that each child is a unique creation of God and therefore, we have built in many options in each grade to meet the needs of our students.
