ADVISORY BOARD

The School of the Madeleine Advisory Board is committed to offering guidance to the administration that will foster the best education for your children.  The Advisory Board functions solely in an advisory capacity.  It is not a decision-making body.  It supports and implements the school philosophy and advises in areas of policy formation, enrollment, fiscal matters, personnel policy and long-range development.

PARENT SUPPORT ASSOCIATION

The Parent Support Association (PSA) promotes a broader appreciation of the ideals of Catholic education, enlists spiritual, educational and social resources of home and school to provide the best Catholic education possible, provides a communication link and support organization for parents and teachers, functions as the school's major fund raising organization, and fosters the integration of the school into the life of the parish.

TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

The Technology Committee was established in May 1996 as a subcommittee of the Advisory Board.  Its purpose is to support the technology educational plan of the school, which addresses three broad goals:

• Improve the computer literacy skills of our children as well as improving their information access and gathering skills;

• Improve the capabilities of our teachers and administrators through professional development and the application of technology to administrative functions throughout the school; and

• Design our instructional program to permit each of our children access to technology resources, materials and tools for curriculum enhancement, remediation, and enrichment so that they may reach their intellectual potential and facilitate individual success.

MADELEINE ATHLETIC CLUB

The Madeleine Athletic Club exists for all who want to provide support and guidance to our Madeleine sports programs.  The club has been in existence for about 20 years.  The basic goal of the club is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to go out for a sport and that adequate coaching, uniforms, venues, and organizations exist for a positive athletic experience.
